Inspiration Exchange, AMSA’s exclusive member networking portal, allows you to create networks with fellow members around the globe based on areas of specialty, interests or hobbies. You can blog, share project materials, event announcements, international health experiences and more. You can communicate directly through your chapter’s very own private community or join a variety of other email-based communities to collaborate and keep up to date on issues that interest you. Event & Institute Communities
Take part in event-specific communities you've registered for or have attended, such as an annual convention, fall conference, chapter officer regional leadership forum, AMSA institute or fellowship program.

SHARING DOCUMENTS HAS NEVER BEEN EASIER

Inspiration Exchange communities each have their own "Resource Library", or archive of documents. Community members can upload basically any document or collection, consisting of everything from text documents, to images, to PowerPoint presentations, videos, PDFs and more. Additionally, every attachment that is included in the community's eGroup discussion is filed here as well. No more searching through old emails, trying to locate a document you knew you saw. Everything is archived here and easily searchable by title, author, date range or simply keywords.

TIP - When you find a document, you can "Add it to your Favorites" for quick reference later.

GETTING STARTED

1. Login with your username & password.

2. Customize your profile and preferences.

3. Adjust your notifications settings.

4. Start a conversation. Post a message in one of the Discussions.

5. Start networking. Find a member.

CREATE YOUR OWN COMMUNITY

Not finding exactly what you are looking for?

Create your own community.
If a community doesn't already exist that covers your area of interest, consider creating your own and invite others to join. Or perhaps you need a private community for a specific group of members. InEx lets you do that too!

TIP - Be sure to select "eGroup" and "Library" features when creating your community to utilize the full suite of options available to you.

SHARE THROUGH BLOGGING

Blogging is a great way to share your thoughts and experiences.

Write a blog. Everyone these days is blogging. It's a great way to communicate on a wide variety of issues.

Follow a blog. Not a blogger? That's okay. Follow the blogs of your contacts and other fellow students on InEx.

TIP - You can control who sees your blog. Assign viewing rights to the public, members, your contacts or even a specific community.
